The ongoing trial where celebrity actor Depp is suing Amber Heard for $50 million, entered its final week on Monday.

Heard’s witness entertainment expert Kathryn Arnold appeared to give a few secrets away about the upcoming DC film “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.” The entertainment consultant seemingly dropped some spoilers during the ongoing defamation trial. Arnold noted that the first draft for the script had a “strong romantic arc” and “some great action sequences.” Later revisions showed her role being “radically reduced.”

The trial has drawn increasing public attention over its length. People camped out overnight and fought over line positions in the hopes of securing one of the 100 public seats in the courtroom. One woman expressed her love for Depp and questioned when he would accept that he was the father of the baby she was holding in her arms during a morning break.

Tuesday’s trial began with Amber Heard’s side resting and Depp’s lawyer, Benjamin Chew, asking the judge to dismiss Heard’s counterclaims. Judge Penny denied Depp’s motion to dismiss the countersuit of $100 million, and Depp’s rebuttal commenced.

Depp’s team called back Douglas Bania, a social media and intellectual property analyst who testified previously that Ron Schnell, a social media forensic expert, failed to provide evidence that her downfall was caused by negative tweets. Bania displayed charts showing positive and negative Q scores which showed Heard’s positive score to be very low and her negative score, very high. Social media expert says Q scores show Heard’s points are low, meaning she is not comparable with big stars like Jason Momoa and Zendaya.

The former owner of Hicksville Trailer Palace Morgan Night was called as a rebuttal witness. He testified about what he witnessed the night of the couple’s argument in June 2013, saying that he did not see Depp yelling at Heard, but witnessed Heard yelling and that Depp appeared to be ‘cowering’ during the argument.

Dr. Richard Shaw, a witness for Depp’s team, testified that Dr. Spiegel, who stated that the celebrity had symptoms of impairment from excessive drug and alcohol usage, had violated his ethical principles with regard to APA’s Goldwater Rule. The forensic psychiatrist told jurors that to determine if someone has narcissistic personality traits, a licensed professional would need to perform ‘careful diagnostic tests,’ which had not been done.
