There are strong reasons to believe that Adele will be back in Las Vegas. When the “Easy On Me” singer had canceled her January 2022 residency, she left thousands of fans disappointed. She was scheduled to perform at The Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace, early this year. She tearfully announced that she was canceling the residency due to COVID-19 fears. But, it later emerged that there were creative differences, as well.
Sources, who know about the singer’s plans, told TMZ that Adele and her team were in serious talks with Planet Hollywood to conduct shows at Zappos Theater. The residency would take place unless there were “unforeseen setbacks”, according to the outlet’s exclusive report.
In case you wondered if there would be objections by The Colosseum, there won’t be any as both the venues–the canceled one and the proposed one belong to the same family–Caesars Entertainment.
The sources also mentioned that Adele would get additional perks. She is expected to have total creative control over the show. The London-born singing sensation would also get a larger cut in ticket sales. This should be a bonanza as Zappos holds 7,000 people while The Colosseum can fit in 4,100 people.
They also said that the dates have not as yet been officially confirmed but would most probably be around late summer, this year. The show would possibly run through the end of the year. This sounds possible as the singer had recently shared the news that she wanted to have a baby, next year.
In February, Adele had appeared on BBC’s Graham Norton show. She told the affable host that she would be on stage in 2022 and she was gutted with the postponement of her Vegas residency. Although she didn’t announce dates, she had said that it would be this year as she wanted to have a baby in 2023.
The celebrity songwriter and singer has been dating celebrity manager Rich Paul, from months. He handles high profile sports stars including LeBron James. Adele was wearing a precious stone ring in her ring finger during the interview but prevaricated when asked if she was engaged, though she didn’t say “no.”
