Another photo was taken of the vice president wearing a Michael Kors Collection suit. Photographed by Tyler Mitchell, Vogue, February 2021.The original cover image taken of VP Harris wearing sneakers and black sneakers went into an uproar on social media.
Comments were made about why Vogue would choose such a casual look over more formal attire that would show greatness in strength instead of casualness. At the time when Harris was Vice President Elect, it was reported that it shows lack of respect for a vice presidential position. The final cover chosen was the vice president looking graceful and fabulous in the Michael Kors Collection suit.
