Celebrity quarterback Tom Brady has modeled his branded clothes and more but did you know that is starring in as well as producing a comedy film called 80 for Brady? The film has a cast of legendary actresses as well as the NFL legend. On Thursday, Brady announced two more celebrities would join the cast including a celebrity chef and an alum from Pose. Fieri would make a cameo appearance in the flick but the Pose alum role is kept under wraps, as of now.
Brady posted on Twitter, “Did someone say road trip?” He tagged Guy Fieri and Billy Porter in the tweet. The host of Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, 54-year old Guy Fieri will appear in the film. He added a GIF that showed the celebrity chef Fieri riding in a red convertible and had “So that’s it for this Flavortown road trip!” written below.
The Hollywood Reporter had also posted on Twitter that Emmy winners Billy Porter and Guy Fieri were “getting into the passenger seat” for the Tom Brady’s movie 80 for Brady.
The plot of comedy film takes its inspiration from a true story. Four best friends played by celebrity stars Lily Tomlin, Jane Fonda, Rita Moreno and Sally Field, who are New England Patriot Fans, take a road trip to the Super Bowl 2017. They want to see their favorite quarterback, obviously played by Tom Brady. The trip is filled with chaos and funny moments,
The road trip comedy starring Brady with the legendary actresses has been completed, according to reports, although there’s no release date mentioned. It has been directed by Kylie Marvin who cowrote the script with Michael Covino. It is based on a draft by Emily Halpern and Sarah Haskins, the writers of BookSmart.
