Reports on Wednesday claim that Apple will unveil its new iPhone 14 on September 7, 2022. The tech giant is also expected to give glimpses of new launches of smartwatches, new versions of Macs as well as iPads before the end of 2022. The fall rollout is always of importance as it comes just before the holiday season. Although there could be unveiling of several Apple devices, its flagship latest version of iPhone is the most awaited release.
Although Apple flagship models are generally launched in September, Bloomberg was the first to suggest a September 7 unveiling date. Mark Gurman, Apple analyst with the outlet generally gets many predictions of Apple devices and its features correct before the tech giant’s official launch.
Reports say that although there will still be four models, the mini iPhone will be dropped and there would be two standard models and two large ones. This has been deduced from the design of cases. There have also been several indications that the mini iPhone model would be dropped, due to disappointing sales in the past years.
Other leaks include a better camera and longer battery life, which has always been a demand from Apple consumers. The iPhone 14 is also expected to be thicker and the Pro model would be still thicker and heavier due to camera upgrades.
The newest iPhone may also finally lose its big notch in front. This feature may become smaller and might resemble a hole + pin design. Although there have been conflicting rumors from different analysts, most reports say that there would be pin+hole.
Apple might also change the colors of iPhone that will be launched, in 2022. Every year, the design team comes up with new colors for the standard as well as the Pro models. Reports say that the iPhone 14 will come in bold and bright colors.
It is most likely that Apple will launch its newest iPhone in September 2022, whether it is in the first, second, third or fourth week of September. Come September all details will be verified after Apple launches its newest flagship phones: the iPhone 14 and the iPhone 14 Pro.
