Analysts at Deutsche Bank provided their outlook ahead of the upcoming NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ:NVDA) Fall GTC keynote.
The analysts expect the Fall GTC keynote to adopt its characteristically futuristic/optimistic tone, highlighting the breadth and depth of use cases for its GPUs for AI applications across a multitude of industries.
Whereas last year’s fall GTC event was largely focused on these software-oriented offerings with relatively few new hardware introductions, the analysts expect this year’s event to at least allude to the upcoming Ada Lovelace GPU architecture for the company’s GeForce 40 series of Gaming GPUs.
The analysts also look for the company to provide a potential update to its guidance for the Oct-quarter, with the risk leaning towards the downside, given increasingly negative data points in recent weeks in the PC/GPU-specific environment.
Overall, the analysts maintain their Hold rating on the company’s shares into the event as they believe the risk of further downside to estimates, as well as ongoing pressures on valuations market-wide, should limit upside to shares.
