Deutsche Bank analysts shared their outlook on Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) ahead of the company’s upcoming Q4 results, expected to be released on July 26.
While near-term investor sentiment has turned more negative and the analysts see the potential for a messy quarter, they noted their positive fundamental view remains unchanged.
The analysts said their checks suggest IT spending is beginning to weaken, and they believe that if the environment is tough for the company, then it’s likely even tougher for most others.
The analysts expect Q4 revenue/adjusted EPS of $52.4 billion/ $2.28 (vs. Street’s $52.6 billion/$2.30), which is below typical topline seasonality (up 6% quarter-over-quarter, approximately 4pts below 3-year average) and in line with the company’s FX-reduced June 2 guidance.
