Suspect Duane “Keffe D” Davis arrested in connection with fatal drive-by shooting of Tupac Shakur. According to two officials with direct knowledge of the arrest, Duane “Keffe D” Davis was hauled into custody early on Friday morning on suspicion of murder. Prior to an anticipated indictment later on Friday, they were not permitted to make any public statements.
The drive-by shooting in Las Vegas in 1996 resulted in four gunshot wounds for the hip-hop legend.
The renowned hip-hop musician was shot on September 7, 1996, in Las Vegas, and died from his wounds six days later in the hospital. He was only 25 years old. His killer’s identity has remained unknown. Las Vegas police detained Duane “Keffe D” his death on Friday morning.
