Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy was heard using the washroom when he was attending a livestream event on X Spaces. Other participants included far-right controversial figures such as Andrew Tate, Alex Jones, the owner of Platform X, Elon Musk, and others. Ramaswamy, who was one of the first Republicans to announce a presidential run, reportedly forgot to turn off the mic.
Entrepreneur Mario Nawfal had hosted Ramaswamy along with many conservative figures, such as alt-right activist Jack Posobiec and InfoWars founder Alex Jones, who is known for spreading conspiracy theories. The most well-known one was that the Sandy Hook school shooting was staged. As reported earlier, Alex Jones was reinstated by Elon Musk on X formerly known as Twitter, on Sunday. There were reportedly 2.3 million web fans listening to the live commentary.
There was a point in the livestream when Elon Musk and a speaker were discussing an issue, and a trickle of water could be heard as background noise. As they discussed the topic of the choice not to have children, Alex Jones interrupted, saying that somebody had their phone in the bathroom. Host Nawfal said, “That’s your phone, Vivek. I’m not able to mute you.”

There were about 100,000 web fans tuned in when this live incident occurred. Vivek Ramaswamy turned off his mic. He came back within seconds and apologized on air.
Vivek Ramaswamy said, “Sorry about that.”
Musk laughed and said, “Well, I hope you feel better.”
Ramaswamy replied, “I feel great; thank you.”
Later, Elon Musk also commented once again on his platform X on the clip that was shared by a web fan. He replied saying, “I’m literally rofl rn.”
This one-of-a-kind moment was later made into hundreds of memes and was also commented on by web fans.
