Meta’s (META) Mark Zuckerberg appeared in front of over 6,000 web fans at the Chase Center in San Francisco. Each tech fan paid $50 or more to fill the space that hosts many major events. On Tuesday, the Meta CEO appeared on a podcast to discuss artificial intelligence, the metaverse, and how Meta is one of the tech leaders in Silicon Valley.
Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg sat on an armchair on stage. His image was projected behind him on a large screen. He wore a custom-made graphic black and white T-shirt and, of course, sported his signature curls.
Zuckerberg enthralled his web fans as he discussed his company’s history, the challenges he faced, and the future of Meta to a rapt audience who watched him live and to millions of listeners who were listening or would listen to his podcast in the future.
What an incredible night.
Never in our wildest dreams did we think we’d do an arena show with @finkd, @eldsjal, and @emilychangtv… plus @iammiketaylor live!!
Huge thank you to @jpmorgan and most importantly to all 6,000 of you who came and made it so special. pic.twitter.com/cFaGomGTRk

Meta’s CEO was the tech guest on the popular podcast Acquired, hosted by Ben Gilbert, 35, and David Rosenthal, 39, who worked in venture capital. They started a business podcast in 2015 while keeping their day jobs. They made the podcast a full-time venture after it rose in popularity during the pandemic.
Many other CEOs also appeared on the Zuckerberg podcast, including Jamie Dimon of JP Morgan Chase, Daniel Ek from Spotify, and Jensen Huang from Nvidia. Musical interludes between the guests’ appearances and different segments were provided.
The 40-year-old who dropped out of Harvard after he founded Facebook in a dorm room with fellow students is now the fourth richest man in the world, according to the Bloomberg Billionaire Index. Zuckerberg has added $51 billion to his already massive fortune this year.
This year, Mark Zuckerberg’s fortune gains surpass those of billionaires such as Tesla’s Elon Musk and Amazon’s Jeff Bezos. He has made AI his pet project following the slow rise of his earlier favorite, the metaverse. If his bet on artificial intelligence pays off big, he will rise higher in the billionaire index in the future.
