Three men were shot at on Sunday night in the Clinton Hill neighborhood in Brooklyn. Two of the victims died, and one was injured in two separate incidents. The shooter, who arrived in a scooter outside the migrant shelter, has not as yet been arrested, and the community residents are holding a rally on Tuesday evening to demand action against the shooter.
Residents believe that the shootings are due to unrest at the two migrant shelters nearby. The community is holding a rally on the corner of Myrtle Avenue and Hall Street at 6 p.m. on Tuesday. They want the police to take action and arrest the shooters, who are at large.

Law enforcement sources told The New York Post that the shooting could be a result of a turf war between rival migrant gangs. The masked men shot the two victims while riding a scooter. The incident occurred around 11 p.m., outside the migrant shelter at 29 Ryerson Street.
Police have taken into custody a person of interest a short while after the incident, as two men who fitted the description of the gunmen were involved in an accident on Park Avenue and Taffee Place. One of the injured men was arrested at the scene. However, the suspected gunman, wearing a pink shirt, got away and is on the loose.
Sources also told The Post that police believe that the shooting might be linked to the notorious Venezuelan gang called Tren de Aragua. The gang has established itself in New York City, and its rivals are former gang members.
The two shootings occurred at the 88th Precinct. Police data shows that overall crime has risen by over 12 percent in this precinct.
