Celebrity Taylor Swift is having an excellent time as she traverses across the nation as part of her Eras tour. The multi-record-breaking singing sensation asked her web fans to extend “kindness” and “gentleness” and more before she shocked fans in the audience by playing the song “Dear John” after 11 years. Swift was performing at the US Bank Stadium, in Minneapolis, on Saturday.
Taylor Swift has been throwing a few surprises on her Eras tour, playing songs that her fans, who are called Swifties, did not expect to hear. At her performance this weekend, she took to the mike to ask her web fans to practice both “kindness” and gentleness” to the person referenced in the song.
The American singer then proceeded to sing “Dear John.” The song details the toxic relationship between a 19-year-old budding singer Swift with older celebrity singer John Mayer, who was 32-years old at that point of time.
She explained that she was young at that time and that she was now 33-years old and didn’t care about what happened more than a decade ago. She explained to her fans that she didn’t need them to “defend” her on the web. Swift knows that some of her fans would go to extreme lengths to defend her.

Taylor Swift explained that her intention was to get back rights to her original songs by releasing newer versions; as she had been unsuccessful in acquiring the rights to her original master recordings.

Taylor Swift has redone songs in these original albums and released them in newer versions which she calls her versions.
Two years ago, she released Fearless (Taylor’s Version) as well as Red (Taylor’s Version). In less than two weeks, Taylor Swift will be releasing her third re-recorded album Speak Now (Taylor’s Version). She wants her fans not to attack celebrity singer John Mayer after the release of the album on July 7.
