Sylvester Stallone made the surprising announcement on the Wednesday premiere of the second season of his popular reality show. The Rocky family’s show is The Family Stallone and streams on Paramount Plus.
Stallone told his daughters that he and their mother had decided to leave the Golden State “permanently” and to move to the Sunshine State.
As his three daughters Sophia, 27, Sistine, 25, and Scarlet, 21, looked askance, he continued and said that it was a done deal and that they had a home in Florida.
Sylvester Stallone and Jennifer Flavin Stallone have been married for 25 years. The 51-year-old mother of three children with the 71-year-old star said it had become “an empty nest” and needed to “change it up.”
The Rambo actor noted that they had a “lot of roots in California but said that he “gave in” as his wife wanted the move.
Sylvester Stallone and his wife, Jennifer Flavin Stallone, bought a sprawling waterfront mansion in Palm Beach in 2020. They purchased the 13,241-square-foot mansion in Florida for $35.38 million.
