The first video drop of Flowers received a massive outpouring of love and comments. The full video for the song River was dropped on Friday night and fans showed their appreciation. The black and white video begins with her dancing solo and later moves to show her surrounded by shirtless men. She sings the chorus to a faster beat while water cascades on all of them.

Before the song was released on March 10, Miley Cyrus said on a social media post that the song River was about a time in her life when she went through a lot “emotionally and personally.” The talented singer noted how all her songs have evolved. She explained the concept further by saying that the songs could start as “a trouble” and then feel like “an April shower” and then finally rain down “like, love.”

The outlet reported that the video for River had 14 men and that she filmed Flowers in the house that Liam had cheated on her 14 times.
