Celebrity actress and businesswoman Gwyneth Paltrow’s ski collision trial in Utah entered its fourth day on Friday. The proceedings kicked off with the conclusion of videotaped testimony given by Richard Boehme, a biomedical engineer, who acted as an expert witness. Sanderson was examined by Boehme in 2021, and during his testimony, he stated that he thought Sanderson’s rib injuries could have only been caused by being hit from behind.
At the Deer Valley ski resort in Park City, Utah, in February 2016, Terry Sanderson claims that a Hollywood star crashed into him, leaving him with “permanent traumatic brain injury, four broken ribs, pain, suffering, loss of enjoyment of life, and disfigurement.” Paltrow, on the other hand, asserts that Sanderson struck her and informed his daughter later that he was “famous.” Today, Sanderson’s attorneys plan to summon the Goop tycoon to the witness stand.
Paltrow is being sued by Sanderson for $300,000, and her only requests are for a symbolic $1 in penalties and payment of her legal costs. According to Terry Sanderson’s lawyer, Gwyneth Paltrow is “worried” about how the hearing is proceeding.
Sanderson’s longtime friend and avid skier Mark Herath also took the witness stand and discussed Sanderson’s skiing abilities before the mishap, among other things. Shae Sanderson Herath, Sanderson’s daughter, spoke just before midday local time. Mark Herath’s sibling is married to Sanderson Herath. Paltrow claims that when two skis slid into her space, “forcing her legs apart,” she “froze.”

The Goop founder clarified that she was not accusing Sanderson of sexual assault, her brain was trying to reconcile what was going on at the time of the collision. When asked if she was conscious that not leaving the site of a ski collision is not only a rule in skiing but also common decency, Paltrow argued that her skiing instructor has all the information.
The court also heard on Friday that the rumored GoPro video footage of Gwyneth Paltrow’s skiing accident may not truly exist. A prior email sent by Sanderson’s daughter during the trial referred to a video of the 2016 incident. Shae Sanderson-Herath previously displayed an email to the jurors in which she alluded to potential GoPro footage of the collision. Sanderson-Herath claimed on Friday that despite her initial belief that such a video existed, she had not actually seen any of it.
