Celebrity anchor of popular show Good Morning America, T.J. Holmes, has filed for a divorce from his wife, Marilee Fiebig, according to reports. The anchor is ending the almost 13-year-old marriage with his wife as news of his romantic relationship with co-anchor celebrity Amy Robach has surfaced and spread like wildfire.
The divorce petition comes after the alleged romance between Holmes and Robach made headlines when video and photographs were published by the Daily Mail indicating a romantic relationship between the two married anchors. In one photo, the two were holding hands. In another, Holmes pats Robach on the back. The video reportedly showed the couple flirting with each other during a show.
Anchor Robach is also said to have divorced her husband, Andrew Shue, during the summer, not long before news of her secret romance with Holmes broke. According to a source, the two had been separated for months but were attempting to “work things out” when the alleged workplace romance became public in late November. Robach has been married “Melrose Place” actor Andrew Shue for 10 years. She has two children from her first marriage to Tim McIntosh; the couple did not have children together.

Anchor Holmes and Fiebig have been married since March 2010 and have a nine-year-old daughter, Sabine. The GMA3 co-anchor also has two children, Brianna and Jaiden, from a previous marriage to Amy Ferson. Holmes reportedly hinted at marital strife in a Facebook post in March 2020.

Television network American Broadcasting Company (ABC) dropped Robach and Holmes from their afternoon newscast earlier this month, citing the allegations as a “distraction.” ABC News President Kim Godwin informed the editorial staff of her decision in a meeting on December 5. According to her, the relationship between two colleagues has become “an internal and external distraction.”
Godwin said that though the relationship is “not a violation of company policies,” she thought it is the best for their organization. The celebrity anchors Amy and T.J. will be “off the air” for the time being while things get figured out.
