Celebrity Jo Koy hosted the Golden Globe Awards ceremony at the Beverly Hills Hilton on Sunday and his monologue including jokes especially about Taylor Swift and Barbie fell flat. Many web fans posted about his tasteless jokes and the audience at the awards ceremony were also unimpressed by most of his jokes and lack of taste as well as humor.
When the comedian joked about Swift’s appearances at NFL games, the record-breaking singer sipped her drink and stared ahead. However, Barbie star Margot Robbie and other members of the blockbuster film looked seemingly annoyed at his tasteless joke about Barbie. Jo Koy later said that he had only two weeks to prepare and that the jokes that the audience laughed at were his and the others were written for him.
His joke about Taylor Swift said that the Grammy Award winner had fewer shots at the Golden Globes than at the NFL games. Swift continued to sip her drink without seeming to visibly react and he said sorry about that.

Many web fans went on social media and criticized the way he hosted and called his jokes tasteless and more.
Later at a red carpet interview with Entertainment Tonight he said that Taylor Swift’s reaction was “cute.”
On Monday, Jo Koy appeared on GMA3. On the show he said that his joke about Taylor Swift “was a weird joke I guess” and more. He tried to explain it as more of a jab towards the NFL rather than Taylor Swift but he said that it had not come out that way.

One web fan of Taylor Swift said that the joke had not landed and maybe they should have “cut more to Taylor” as she was looking fabulous.

Taylor Swift looked gorgeous at the Golden Globe Awards. She wore a shiny green dress with thin straps. She added three pairs of stone earrings, one was a pair of studs while the other two were dangling earrings of different lengths. She also wore multiple rings on her fingers. Her hair was styled with a signature fringe.
