Celebrity Britney Spears has finally broken her silence and commented on the divorce proceedings between her and her husband Sam. She posted a dance video on social media and expressed her “shock” and more after the news of her divorce with husband Sam Asghari went viral. The model and actor had filed a divorce petition on Wednesday in Los Angeles. He mentioned “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the divorce.
The Princess of Pop Britney Spears, who is now 41-years old, posted a dance video and a lengthy post that addressed the upcoming divorce. She said that she was a “little shocked” that her relationship with Sam Asghari was ending. She and Sam were together for six years, and she married him, after she finally came out of a strict conservatorship under her dad, which had been abusive, according to her.
Britney Spears said that she was not on social media to explain why their marriage was breaking as it was “nobody’s business.” However, she also said that she “couldn’t take the pain anymore.”
She also mentioned that she was thankful for the messages that she had received from her friends that melted her heart. She explained that she would love to show her emotions but had learned to hide her weaknesses otherwise she “would be sent away to places to be fixed by doctors!!!”
She also mused that love was supposed be unconditional and said that she would “be as strong” as she could and she was “doing pretty damn good.”
She ended her post saying, “Anyway have a good day and don’t forget to smile!!!”
Iranian actor and model Sam Asghari also posted on social media saying that he and his wife had “decided to end” their journey together.” He said that it was ridiculous to ask for “privacy” but asked “everyone including the media to be kind and thoughtful.”
