Celebrity 50 Cent has become a suspect in a criminal battery case, according to a popular outlet. On Wednesday night, a woman filed a police report saying that she was hit by a mic thrown by the rapper. Law enforcement sources told the outlet that 50 Cent had reportedly thrown the mic at the crew who were present in the production area, and it hit the woman. She was not supposed to be in that area.
TMZ reported that 50 Cent threw more than one mic during his concert in Los Angeles. He was onstage at the Crypto Arena during his 2023 Final Lap tour with YG. He was handed several mics by the crew, but they didn’t work, and he hurled them across the stage.
As 50 Cent walked on the stage to join YG who was singing on stage, he turned to one side and forcefully threw the mike. It hit a woman on her head.
Sources said that 50 Cent had not targeted the woman. A source who is connected to 50 cents said that the woman was not supposed to be in the restricted area.
The woman who was injured has been identified as Bryhana Monegain. She is a host on Power 106 radio.
She filed a complaint against 50 Cent and told the police that the rapper had looked directly at her and then hurled the mic. According to her, 50 Cent knew that she was there.

Bryhana was taken to the hospital. She suffered a laceration on her head. Photos posted on social media show a gash on her forehead as well as towels with blood wrapped around her neck.
Several weeks ago, rapper Cardi B hurled a mic into the audience when a fan threw a cold drink at her. It hit another person who was standing beside the fan, who filed a report with the police. However, Cardi B was cleared of the charge and the mic has been put on auction and the money will be going to charities, according to TMZ. Incidentally the mic is still working.
It remains to be seen what happens to rapper 50 Cent after he hurled a mic from the stage.
