Footage of a San Francisco art gallery owner spraying a homeless woman with a hose and demanding that she leave has gone viral. The owner of a posh San Francisco art gallery is being mocked after being caught on video spraying a homeless woman with a garden hose.
Collier Gwin, the owner of the Foster Gwin Gallery in the upscale Jackson Square neighborhood of San Francisco, admitted on Monday that he hosed down the woman to get her off his sidewalk. The gallery owner, on the other hand, insisted that the entire community had failed her.
On Monday, the gallery owner was seen leaning casually against the gate of a restaurant, blasting water at the woman, identified as Cora, as she screamed in terror.
However, the video, which was first shared on TikTok before being widely shared on Twitter, garnered the ire of online critics. Local businesses condemned his actions, while scores of enraged people sought retaliation by leaving a slew of negative reviews on social media, which reduced the gallery’s Google rating to just one star.

Gwin, whose clients included David Rockefeller and Arnold Schwarzenegger, attempted to defend his actions after admitting to being the man in the video, claiming she had become psychotic and was turning over garbage cans.
He said that he totally understood it was an awful thing to do, but leaving her on the streets is equally bad, the art gallery owner Collier Gwin told KGO’s Dion Lim.
Edson Garcia, co-owner of Brioche Cafe, captured the incident on his cellphone while on his way to deliver a catering order shortly after 6 a.m. on Monday. Garcia, who has seen the homeless woman in the North Beach neighborhood before, occasionally asks her not to block the doorway to his café and has never found her to be aggressive.
Edson Galvez, the one who posted the video online, said that he felt sorry for the lady, and that the police had come out, but there was nothing they could do.
