A former Kent man, who is in jail for more than two and a half years, faces additional murder charges. The man reportedly lured a victim to a game park, killed her, and buried her body in a shallow grave, according to court documents. The man is now also facing three additional murder charges after more bodies were found close to the murder spot. He reportedly used the same modus operandi of saying that he needed help to dig up buried gold and killed them in a wooded area.
The Seattle Times reported that Richard Bradley Jr. had been charged in May 2021 with premeditated first-degree murder. He had reportedly lured Brandi Blake to a 160-acre Game Farm Park in Auburn. Court records say that 40-year-old Bradley killed her, and buried her in a a shallow grave. The cause of her death was reported as death due to blunt force injuries.
King County Sheriff’s detectives found three human ribs near 44-year-old Blake’s body. These human parts were identified as belonging to Emilio Maturin, who disappeared in July 2019. The 36-year-old was reported missing by his girlfriend on August 2, about two weeks after he had disappeared. She said that she had overheard Bradley saying that he required help to dig up gold. Her boyfriend Maturin had been skeptical but had left with Bradley and had not returned, according to charging papers.
Richard Bradley Jr. was also considered a person of interest after Michael Goeman and Vance Lakey were found dead in March 2021. The 59-year-old father and his 31-year-old son were fatally shot. The Seattle Times reported that court records indicated that Bradley had been charged with second-degree arson in May. He had allegedly asked a man to torch the Dodge Durango that belonged to the father and son and had offered him $1.000.
Richard Bradley is presently in King County Jail. He is held without bail. He has now been charged with four murders,
