
Britney Spears was recently arrested in Los Angeles for allegedly driving under the influence (DUI). According to Ventura Sheriff’s Office records, the 44-year old celebrity was arrested on suspicion of DUI on March 4 in the evening and was released on March 5 early in the morning. The Oops I Did It Again had been pulled over and was taken to her hospital to check her blood alcohol content, which might be below the permissible limit but there is no official confirmation, to date.
Britney Spears’s rep described it as an “unfortunate incident” in the American singer’s life and said that that it was hoped that she would get “help and support she needs during this difficult time” in her life.
The rep also said that the Princess of Pop as she has been referred to was going to spend more time with her sons and her loved ones would be setting up a plan that was long overdue, “to set up for success for well-being.”
Britney Spears has faced a lot of turmoil in her life. She married backup dancer, Kevin Federline with whom she had two sons Sean Preston, 20 and Jayden, 9. She financially supported her sons till they became adults and has taken several steps to repair her relationship with her sons.
Britney Spears’s ex Kevin Federline has been gaslighting off from the singer and wrote a memoir called You Thought You Knew that alleged many things that have not been substantiated, except by him. The Toxic singer said that she had only tried to have a life with her boys.
Britney Spears also suffered from a strict conservativership under her dad for more than 13 years. The Grammy winning singer has financially supported her children and her family members, but has generally received negativity or indifference from them, though her sons have recently tried to mend their relationships with their mother.
Britney Spears recently sold her music catalog for hundreds of millions of dollars as reported by CWEB Celebrity News. She recently obtained a restraining order against a Louisiana man, who allegedly showed up at her home in Los Angeles, from the court.
