The person who posted the video of carts full of different food products wrote that they couldn’t believe that so much food was going to be wasted. The person also replied to a comment and said that the food was being dumped due to a power outage.
Many web fans commented that stores were legally required to throw out food if refrigerators and freezers stopped working in stores and the temperatures crossed specified levels. One web fan said that other stores also threw out food, and Target was not the only one.
