Serghei Spivac made quick work of Marcin Tybura on Saturday night, winning their main event heavyweight bout in less than two minutes via submission at UFC Fight Night in Las Vegas.

Spivac (17-4-0) got Tybura (25-9-0) caught up in an armbar just 1:44 into the first round, and just like that, the fight was over.

It was a dose of long-awaited revenge for Spivac, who lost to Tybura by unanimous decision back on Feb. 29, 2020. Since then, Spivac has won seven of his nine UFC fights. Tybura is 7-3-0 during that span.

In other action Saturday, Chepe Mariscal (17-6-0) beat Damon Jackson (23-7-1) by unanimous decision in a featherweight affair. The cards read 30-25, 30-25, 30-26.

Danny Barlow (9-0-0) prevailed in a welterweight battle, edging Nikolay Veretennikov (12-5-0) by split decision. Barlow took the cards 29-28, 27-30, 29-28.

Other winners included bantamweights Chris Gutierrez (21-6-2) and Toshiomi Kazama (11-4-0) and women’s bantamweight Yana Santos (15-8-0).
