Bangot Dak scored 11 of his team-high 18 points in the second half, one of five Colorado players to reach double figures, and the Buffaloes pulled away to beat UC Davis 95-79 in Boulder, Colo., on Friday night.

Felix Kossaras scored a career-high 17 points, Sebastian Rancik had 15 points, Barrington Hargress contributed 13 points and nine assists, and Alon Michaeli scored 10 for Colorado (5-0).

The Buffaloes trailed briefly before using a 14-2 run in the second half to gain control.

Marcus Wilson scored a game-high 21 points, Niko Rocak finished with 19 points and Nils Cooper added 14 for UC Davis (4-2).

Colorado scored the first 10 points of the game, the Aggies answered with a 10-2 run, but the Buffaloes stretched the lead to 37-24 with 4:50 left in the first half.

UC Davis responded with another run to get within two before trailing 43-39 at intermission.

Kossaras hit a 3-pointer to open the second half but the Aggies hit three straight from deep, two by Rocak, to cut the deficit to 50-48 with 16:08 left.

They kept up the momentum and tied it for the first time when Wilson made a driving layup with 14:01 left but after the teams traded buckets from in close, the Buffaloes retook the lead on three straight free throws by Kossaras. Rocak made a layup, Colorado turned it over and Connor Sevilla hit a jumper to give UC Davis a 58-57 lead, its first of the night, with 12:03 left.

The Aggies extended their lead to 63-59 but the Buffaloes rallied. Kossaras started it with a dunk, Hargress converted a three-point play, freshman Jalin Holland drained the first 3-pointer of his career and Dak closed the 10-0 run on a dunk with 7:32 left.

UC Davis briefly stopped the momentum with a putback but Colorado kept stretching its advantage behind five points each from Bargress and Dak, both of whom converted three-point plays to put the Buffaloes ahead 79-69.

Colorado sealed it with a 3-pointer and a three-point play by Rancik in the final 2:49.
