Google plans to open its first physical stores in India, investing $10 billion in the market.
Alphabet is heavily investing in artificial intelligence, with a $75 billion investment planned for 2025.
Google’s current stock price is $185.28, with a market capitalization of approximately $2.245 trillion.

On February 20, 2025, UBS maintained its “Buy” rating for Alphabet Inc.’s Google (NASDAQ:GOOG), with a recommendation to “hold.” At the time, the stock price was $185. Google, a subsidiary of Alphabet Inc., is a global technology leader known for its search engine, advertising services, and hardware products. It competes with tech giants like Apple and Microsoft.

Google is expanding its retail presence by planning its first physical stores in India, a key growth market. The company has committed to investing $10 billion in India, aiming to replicate Apple’s successful retail strategy. Currently, Google operates five stores in the U.S., selling products like Pixel phones and earbuds. The new stores in India will be around 15,000 square feet each.

Alphabet is also focusing on artificial intelligence (AI) with significant capital expenditures. The development of its Gemini models, designed for complex document and image processing, highlights this commitment. The upcoming Gemini 2.0 will offer enhanced capabilities, positioning Alphabet as a leader in the AI model market. This strategic focus supports a valuation 25% above the sector median.

Alphabet plans to invest $75 billion in AI in 2025, expecting strong returns and top-line growth. Over the past five years, Google has quadrupled its computing power per kilowatt, reducing costs and improving profit margins. This focus on AI has increased Alphabet’s market share to 12% in 2024, with an annual revenue run rate of $110 billion.

GOOG’s current stock price is $185.28, a slight decrease of 0.99% from the previous day. The stock has fluctuated between $184.61 and $187.12 today, with a 52-week high of $208.70 and a low of $131.55. The company’s market capitalization is approximately $2.245 trillion, with a trading volume of 2,137,334 shares on the NASDAQ.
