Donald Trump has already picked many cabinet members and announced a new department. Since the Republican Party has a Senate majority, it appears as if his nominees will not face any problems. According to multiple sources, Trump has confirmed some names on social media, and other names mentioned by CWEB are strong contenders for Cabinet posts and White House jobs.

President-elect Donald Trump announced the following on social media:
Susie Wiles, his campaign co-chair, will be his chief of staff. This position does not require confirmation by the Senate. However, it carries prestige and is considered part of the cabinet.

Trump has offered Representative Elise Stefanik the position of US ambassador to the UN. This job requires Senate confirmation.

Tom Homan will serve as “border czar,” according to a post on Truth Social.

Trump announced Pete Hegseth as Defense Secretary. He praised the Fox News anchor’s military record and more.

The president-elect also confirmed Rep. Michael Waltz as the National Security Adviser. He is considered a Chinese hawk and is against providing additional aid to Ukraine.

Trump announced William McGinley as White House Counsel.

South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem has been confirmed as his pick to run the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

John Ratcliffe has been confirmed as his choice for CIA director.

Other picks include
Lee Zeldin as EPA administrator
Mike Huckabee as US ambassador to Israel
Dan Scavino, Stephen Miller, James Blair and Taylor Budowich as senior staff members in the White House.

Probable, unconfirmed picks so far, according to multiple sources:
Marco Rubio, the Florida senator, is expected to be confirmed as Secretary of State.
Scott Bessent or Robert Lighthizer could become Treasury Secretary
Linda McMahon might be the Commerce Secretary
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. might be appointed head of the Department of Health and Human Services.

President-elect Donald Trump also announced a new department called the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Tesla CEO Elon Musk and American entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy will lead it.
