The top six teams were unchanged and No. 15 Nebraska surged to its highest ranking in 34 years in the Associated Press Top 25 men’s college basketball poll released Monday.

No. 1 Arizona (9-0) received 42 of 61 first-place votes, while 15 votes went to No. 2 Michigan (10-0), three to No. 3 Duke (10-0) and one to No. 4 Iowa State (11-0).

After UConn (10-1) and Purdue (10-1), No. 7 Gonzaga (10-1) and No. 8 Houston (10-1) switched places, followed by Michigan State (9-1) and BYU (9-1) to round out the top 10.

The Cornhuskers (11-0) climbed eight spots after routing Wisconsin by 30 last Wednesday and winning on a buzzer-beater at then-No. 13 Illinois on Saturday to open 2-0 in Big Ten play. The No. 15 ranking is Nebraska’s highest since it was No. 11 in the final poll of the 1990-91 season.
