Boogie Fland recorded 20 points and seven assists and Arkansas overcame a 15-point first-half deficit to notch an 89-87 victory over No. 14 Michigan on Tuesday night in the Jimmy V Classic in New York.

D.J. Wagner scored 16 points and Trevon Brazile added 15 points, three steals and a key blocked shot as the Razorbacks (8-2) notched their biggest win of the John Calipari era. Adou Thiero scored 13 points and James Aidoo had 11 points and seven rebounds for Arkansas, which has won three in a row.

Roddy Gayle Jr. of Michigan had a turnaround 15-footer bounce off the front rim at the buzzer as the Wolverines (8-2) had a seven-game winning streak halted.

Vladislav Goldin registered 17 points and nine rebounds for Michigan, which trailed by 18 in the second half before a late charge. Danny Wolf had 14 points, nine rebounds and nine assists. Will Tschetter scored all 13 of his points in the first half, Gayle also scored 13 and Nimari Burnett had 10.

No. 1 Tennessee 75, Miami 62

Chaz Lanier tallied 22 points, Igor Milicic Jr. posted 16 points and nine rebounds, and the Volunteers used a late first-half run to roll over Miami in the Jimmy V Classic in New York.

The Volunteers (9-0) closed the first half by netting 14 unanswered points against Miami (3-7) to set up the Hurricanes’ seventh straight defeat. A three-point specialist who transferred from North Florida, Lanier made 4 of 7 from beyond the arc. Zakai Zeigler totaled 13 points, nine assists and five rebounds.

Virginia Tech transfer Lynn Kidd led Miami with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Nijel Pack scored 12 points and A.J. Staton-McCray added 11 points and four steals.

No. 4 Duke 72, Incarnate Word 46

Khaman Maluach scored 17 points on 6-of-7 shooting to help the Blue Devils pull away against the Cardinals in Durham, N.C.

Isaiah Evans made four 3-pointers in the second half, when he scored all 14 of his points, as the Blue Devils (8-2) won their fourth consecutive game. Kon Knueppel had 10 points for Duke. The Blue Devils outscored Incarnate 44-25 in the second half after a sluggish opening 20 minutes.

Jalin Anderson and Dylan Hayman had 11 points apiece to pace the Cardinals (5-5).

No. 15 Houston 62, Troy 42

L.J. Cryer hit six 3-pointers and scored 22 points as the Cougars rode a stifling first-half defensive effort against visiting Troy.

Emanuel Sharp added 14 points as the Cougars (6-3) extended their home winning streak to 27 games, the longest active run in the nation. Houston led 33-11 at the break, setting a school record for fewest points allowed in a first half.

Thomas Dowd scored 10 points for Troy (5-4), which shot 24 percent and missed 16 of 18 3-point tries. Myles Rigsby, the leading scorer at 14 points per game, was limited to three points.

Illinois 86, No. 20 Wisconsin 80

Freshman Kasparas Jakucionis posted a career-high 24 points and Tre White added a season-high 23 as the Fighting Illini knocked off the Badgers in Champaign, Ill.

Kylan Boswell chipped in 19 points and six assists for the Fighting Illini (7-2, 1-1 Big Ten), who outrebounded the Badgers 40-29 and made 22 of 25 free throws.

Nolan Winter tied a career high with 15 points and hauled in seven rebounds for Wisconsin (8-3, 0-2), which lost its third game in a row. John Tonje netted 14 points, while Max Klesmit contributed 13 and John Blackwell scored 10 before fouling out.
