Aaron Wiggins scored 23 points off the bench, Jalen Williams added 17, Cason Wallace had 14 and Luguentz Dort chipped in 11 for Oklahoma City, which led by as many as 44 and won its second straight since having its 15-game winning streak snapped.

Oklahoma City led 104-69 at the end of the third period and rested most of its starters in the fourth quarter.

Isaiah Hartenstein added 10 points and 12 rebounds and Kenrich Williams scored 10 for the Western Conference-leading Thunder, who held Washington to 33.7 percent shooting from the field and 19.6 percent (9 of 46) shooting from 3-point range.

Oklahoma City has won its last six meetings against Washington, which owns the NBA’s worst record at 6-31.

Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma, who entered the game averaging 14.6 points, finished with six points on 2-of-12 shooting, including 0-of-6 from 3-point range.

Washington took its only lead of the game at 22-21 before Oklahoma City closed the first quarter on a 16-3 run to move ahead 37-25.

The Thunder gained control in the second quarter, moving ahead 51-31 with 8:04 left in the period and extending their lead to 67-43 at the half.

Gilgeous-Alexander was 11-of-11 from the foul line and scored 18 points in the first half, while the Wizards were held to 5-of-28 (17.9 percent) shooting from 3-point range.

Gilgeous-Alexander scored his 10,000th career point in the third quarter and rested for the entire fourth period. He finished the game shooting 16-of-17 from the foul line.

The Wizards played without guard Malcolm Brogdon, who missed his fourth straight game with a right foot sprain.
