Thunder forward Chet Holmgren will miss his first game this season on Tuesday because of tightness in his back.

Oklahoma City (4-0) ruled out Holmgren for the home game against the Sacramento Kings in the second game of a back-to-back. He scored 18 points with 11 rebounds and four blocks in 32 minutes in the Thunder’s 101-94 win at Dallas on Monday.

Holmgren made a pair of free throws with 3.3 seconds to go to help seal the victory, their third on the road this season. He’s averaging 23.0 points and 10.3 rebounds per game.

The Thunder expect guard Alex Caruso (concussion) to play Tuesday after being in concussion protocol since scoring eight points in 30 minutes in the opening night win over the Rockets.
