Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, professionally known as The Weeknd, confirmed on Thursday that his 2022 tour will kick start in July in Toronto, Canada. Named After Hours Til Dawn, the tour will see him perform shows featuring his recent 2022 album Dawn FM and also After Hours which was released in 2020. Doja Cat will feature as a special guest in all the dates of this tour. The Weeknd has worked with Doja Cat in his hit You Right.

The tickets for the 2022 tour will go on sale on March 10 while a special pre-sale will be available on March 4 for fans who had already booked tickets for the 2020 “After Hours” tour.
Tesfaye has collaborated with the U.N. World Food Program to launch the XO Humanitarian Fund, which will provide critical assistance to people in the countries hit by hunger crisis like Ukraine, Ethiopia, Madagascar and Yemen. A sum of $500,000 has been donated by The Weeknd to the fund, a press release said. It will provide immediate support to the people on the brink of starvation. The World Food Program of the U.S. will also donate $1 million to the fund.
