Robert Kiyosaki, the author of the popular personal finance book Rich Dad Poor Dad, has revealed that he is investing more in bitcoin. In a tweet, Kiyosaki explained that he is “very excited” about bitcoin because it is classified as a commodity, like gold, silver, and oil, while the SEC has classified most other cryptocurrencies as securities.
This classification means that the SEC’s regulations may have a larger impact on these other cryptocurrencies, leading Kiyosaki to caution that the regulator may “crush” many of them.
Kiyosaki has previously recommended investing in gold, silver, and bitcoin, and has stated that he is a long-term investor in the cryptocurrency.
