The Prince and Princess of Wales, William and Kate Middleton met web fans in London as they sailed on the Thames and visited the oldest food market in the UK. The royal couple were recently in the city and interacted with the crew members of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution located near the Tower of London. They also interacted with shopkeepers at the Borough Market, and many web fans thronged central London to get a glimpse of the royal couple.
William and Kate Middleton wore yellow lifejackets with the RNLI logo and baseball caps. They took a ride down the Thames near the iconic Tower Bridge in London. They spoke with the volunteers. This visit comes as the RNLI lifeguards celebrate their 25th anniversary.
The Prince and Princess of Wales handed out flowers outside the RNLI. This trip was a throwback as their first royal duty together was a visit to a lifeboat station in Anglesey, Wales, weeks before their wedding in April 2011.
Prince William and Princess Catherine also visited the famous Borough market in London. Both were dressed elegantly in casual suits and Kate Middleton paired her outfit with simple jewelry.
They were welcomed by shopkeepers and even went behind counters to serve lucky royal fans and tourists who had an unforgettable experience as they were served by the smiling royals.
They visited several shops at the historic 1000 year old market and served at shops that included desserts as well as pulled quintessential British pints for customers. They met with traders who informed them about the market’s focus on community support as well as sustainability.

Prince William and Princess Catherine tried their hands at pulling a pint at Bermondsey Beer Mile. Kate Middleton also brewed a perfect cappuccino at Change Please, which is a social enterprise. It trains homeless people in coffee retail. Unfortunately, William didn’t drink the coffee as it was not “decaf.”
They also visited Trethowan Brothers award winning cheese stall and sampled the handmade cheese that formed their lunch. Kate Middleton also served crumble to lucky royal fans as she stood behind the counter of Humble Crumble.
