The Crips gang member, who was found guilty of first-degree murder, one count of firearm possession, and two counts of attempted voluntary manslaughter last July, was sentenced to 25 years to life in prison for the murder of Nipsey, plus an additional 25 years to life in prison because he had used a gun. Superior Court Judge H. Clay Jacke II handed down the sentence in Los Angeles.
Ermias Joseph Asghedom, better known as Nipsey Hussle, was shot and killed on March 31, 2019, in South Los Angeles. He was thirty-three.
Prosecutors claim that Holder shot rapper Nipsey Hussle several times because Hussle called Holder a “snitch” while they were both growing up and both were members of the same gang.

Hussle has established himself as a strong opponent of gun violence and a proponent of neighborhood improvement and children’s prospects. In order to discuss strategies to stop gang violence around the city, Hussle was slated to meet with LA Police Commissioner Steve Soboroff and LA Police Chief Michel Moore.
In August of last year, Hussle received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame as a posthumous tribute on what would have been his 37th birthday. Hussle founded the record company All Money In.
