Movie Review-The Killer
From the Oscar®-winning producer of Oppenheimer comes “The Killer,” a kinetic action thriller that delivers a punchy mix of suspense and adrenaline and an all-star cast. Emmy nominee Nathalie Emmanuel (The Fast Saga, Game of Thrones) stars as Zee, a notorious and enigmatic assassin feared throughout the Parisian underworld as the Queen of the Dead.
The film starts with Zee on a mission from her shadowy mentor and handler, played by Sam Worthington (Avatar). The plot takes a dramatic turn when Zee, in a moment of uncharacteristic mercy, refuses to kill a blinded young woman (Diana Silvers; Ma, Booksmart) in a Paris nightclub. This decision sets off a chain reaction that threatens to unravel Zee’s carefully maintained alliances.
As Zee navigates the treacherous fallout, she catches the attention of a savvy police investigator portrayed by Golden Globe nominee Omar Sy (Jurassic World franchise, Lupin). His pursuit adds a layer of tension as Zee is drawn deeper into a sinister criminal conspiracy that forces her to confront her dark past.
