The Dragon Prince: Season 6 – A Spellbinding Return
In the enchanting world of Xadia, magic flows from six primal sources: the Moon, Sky, Sun, Earth, Ocean, and Stars. Once, dragons, elves, and humans coexisted harmoniously until the humans, unable to wield primal magic, turned to the dark arts.
This dangerous power, bestowed upon them by the ancient Startouch Elf Aaravos, allowed them to siphon life essence from magical creatures for their spells. Consequently, the dragons and elves banished the humans to the western half of Xadia, splitting the continent in two.
Now, seven centuries later, Aaravos’ sinister plans to reignite the conflict are uncovered, leading to his imprisonment by the mighty King of the Dragons and Archdragon of the Sky, Avizandum, using a magical mirror.
Season 6 of The Dragon Prince promises to continue the epic quest for peace in Xadia, with most of the original cast returning.
The teaser, mostly devoid of dialogue, features striking images from the upcoming season and concludes with an ominous voiceover of Aaravos saying Claudia’s name. “I’m here,” he whispers just before the release date is revealed.
In the trailer, Zym is seen next to mushrooms with Soren and Corvus, hinting they are closer to finding Mukho and the dragon queen Zubeia.
Zubeia was injured at the end of Season 5 during the heroes’ rescue mission at the Great Bookery of Lux Aurea. While not all returning characters are confirmed in the trailer, Commander Gren, Janai, Aaravos, and Corvus are expected to be back alongside the main characters.
As fans eagerly await, Season 6 of The Dragon Prince premieres on July 26th, exclusively on Netflix.
