The thriller “The Bricklayer” portrays a defiant insurgent who manipulates the CIA as a convenient target by assassinating journalists from several countries and creating false proof of the agency’s collaboration.
The CIA must persuade its most astute and insubordinate operative, Steve Vail (Aaron Eckhart), to come out of retirement as other nations begin to oppose the United States. Endowed with a deadly and extraordinary range of abilities, Vail is tasked with reinstating the agency’s standing, compelling him to confront his problematic past while unveiling a worldwide plot.
