Patrick Xavier Clark, the man accused of murdering two-time Grammy nominee Takeoff (born Kirsnick Khari Ball) on November 1, was released from Harris County Jail in Texas on Wednesday night after posting a $1 million bond.
According to TMZ, the 33-year-old Texan surrendered his passport to the judge and donned a GPS monitor for house arrest before his next court appearance on March 9.
Patrick’s release terms include a prohibition on possessing lethal weapons and a prohibition on contacting anyone connected to the case.
On November 1, Takeoff and his Migos collaborator, Quavo, were out with about 30 other people at a bowling alley in Houston. Some of the attendees are seen on video getting into an altercation, which quickly escalated into violence.
Two other people, Joshua ‘Wash’ Washington, 24, and a woman, 23, were rushed to the hospital with ‘non-life-threatening injuries.’
On November 11, 20,000 people attended Takeoff’s Celebration of Life at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena, including Quavo, Offset, Cardi B, Drake, Justin Bieber, and Chloe Bailey.
