The 29th Screen Actors Guild Awards, a ceremony chosen by the actors themselves, honored some of the outstanding television and film performances of the year on Sunday in Los Angeles. The show broadcasted Netflix’s YouTube channel’s SAG Awards had 1.1 million views.
Everything Everywhere, The White Lotus, and “Abbott Elementary” earned top honors at the SAG Awards. In the television category, “The White Lotus” received the ensemble cast award for Drama, and “Abbott Elementary” took home the Comedy award.
It was a stunning night with many notable rewards. Ke Huy Quan and Michelle Yeoh made history. Ke Huy Quan was the first Asian male to win the outstanding supporting actor award in the film category. Michelle Yeoh, actor won outstanding performance by a female actor in a leading role for the film “Everything Everywhere All at Once.”
