The train was supposedly carrying petroleum, oil tankers, with gasoline and coal however, just after 10am a College Station Fire Department’s Hazmat truck was being sent to the fiery crash. Homes and businesses were under evacuation when the crash occurred.
Milam County Sheriff Chris White reported the crash happened at a railroad crossing at approximately 6.40am.
