Celebrity television personality Leah Messer has been a part of the Teen Mom franchise for more than a decade. Following her appearance on 16 and Pregnant in 2010, the Elkview, West Virginia, cheerleader joined the cast of Teen Mom 2 in 2011. It was a shock for 17-year-old Leah to find out she was pregnant with twins after only dating then-boyfriend and television reality star Corey Simms for a month. She married Simms in 2010, only to be divorced in 2011. Post her divorce, she married Jeremy Calvert in 2012 and with him, she has a daughter Adalynn Faith.
The MTV royalty says she has discovered a “great” way to co-parent with her ex-husbands, Calvert and Simms. Leah has three daughters, two of whom she shares with Corey, Aleeah Grace and Aliannah Hope, and one with Jeremy.
The 30-year-old reality TV star recently spoke to PEOPLE about her relationships with Corey and Jeremy. She said that they have reached a point where they can prioritize their daughters’ needs; however, getting to where they are now in their relationships has been “absolutely difficult.”

The actress stated that they stick to their plans, but if something crops up, they just communicate about the children’s needs or activities. She and her ex-husbands make sure Aleeah, Ali, and Addie’s well-being comes first.
In addition to tending to three daughters and navigating co-parenting, Leah and Jaylan Mobley got engaged over the summer, only to call it quits two months later.
Jaylan’s romantic beachfront proposal happened during The Next Chapter, which was unfortunate for Leah. During the show’s first season, viewers witnessed Jaylan propose to her during their one-year anniversary trip to Costa Rica. Neither Leah nor Jaylan have given a reason for their breakup, though there have been rumors of infidelity and Jaylan’s sexuality playing a role.
During Part 2 of the Teen Mom: The Next Chapter reunion, the celebrity revealed to hosts Dr. Drew Pinsky and Nessa Diab that she signed an NDA that barred her from discussing her failed engagement. Leah addressed critics and her fans who questioned her and Jaylan’s split briefly in October 2022. Not providing any details, the star stated that she wanted her followers to know that she was ready to move on.
