Following the online sharing of a video showing her being attacked by students, a 14-year-old girl tragically committed suicide. Adriana Kuch, who endured constant bullying at Central Regional High School in Berkeley Township, New Jersey, was discovered dead at her residence two days after the shocking video went viral on February 1, according to police.
Adriana’s father claims that she was regularly bullied before the shocking attack by four girls at Central Regional High School in Berkeley Township, New Jersey. The 14-year-old “blacked out” after being “smashed in the face three times with a water bottle.” He said that the school wouldn’t let him file a report, so he was forced to take his blood-covered daughter to the police station.
In the news outlets’ video, Adriana is seen walking alongside another student when she is struck by a water bottle that has broken open. After that, the teenager is kicked, punched, and had her hair pulled while someone laughed in the background, and one addressed her in foul language. She was discovered dead at her home two days after the video went viral, according to local media.
According to News 12 New Jersey, four girls have been charged with disorderly conduct and three have been charged with third-degree assault. However, Adriana’s family is now suing the school for what they claim was a failure to act after the widely publicized beating.
On social media Adriana’s father, Michael claimed that the school only informed him that his daughter had passed out and had been attended by a school nurse. He stated that the school did not call the police or file a report. According to him, the videos could have been found right away if the school had contacted the police, made a report, and launched an investigation. Michael argued that the harassment and bullying his daughter experienced “over a long period of time” must be addressed by the Ocean County school district.

More than two hundred students demonstrated outside Central Regional High on Wednesday, skipping class to call for action against bullying, which they claim is widespread throughout the school system. Adriana was not the only student to experience bullying, according to the school community, which also claimed that another student was attacked in the cafeteria in April of last year. Similar stories of worrying and upsetting bullying behavior were told by other protesters, who claimed the district did nothing to stop it.
