Taylor Swift released a new version of her sophomore album, Fearless. The rerecording’s of Fearless are Taylor’s Version of the songs and features 26 songs, along with six previously unreleased ones.
Swift enlisted singers Olivia Rodrigo and Conan Gray, sharing on social media, videos of themselves singing and dancing to Swift’s “You Belong with Me” and “White Horse.”
The new release includes You Belong with Me” and “Fifteen,” in which she won the Grammy for album of the year in 2010. Swift released two new albums, Folklore and Evermore. She won album of the year for Folklore at the 63rd Grammy Awards, which made her the only female solo artist to have won that top prize three times.
Following Scooter Braun Deal, in 2019 Taylor Swift Confirms Plans to Rerecord Early Songs. The singer said she will rerecord her songbook due to the controversial $300 million deal between Scooter Braun and Big Machine Label Group founder Scott Borchetta. The earlier versions of her master recordings were in the hands of Braun.
Braun’s Ithaca Holdings company acquired Big Machine Label Group, and the entire music recording catalog Swift released through Borchetta’s label. Swift was very public on Tumblr how upset she was with the deal and directly pointed out her grievances toward Braun and Borchetta.
