The Tate brothers, Andrew, and Tristan have been denied bail after a Romanian court rejected their latest application. Looks like the controversial influencer Andrew, and his brother Tristan, detained on rape and human trafficking charges in Romania since December, will remain in the Romanian jail for some more time. So far, they have been denied bail three times and given detainment extensions. The latest extension for Andrew came on Tuesday, and on Wednesday, his brother Tristan was also denied bail.
Both brothers will remain in a Romanian prison for at least till the end of the month, reports say. Tristan sought to be released from jail and requested to be kept under house arrest, but his plea was denied. He is a former reality television star who was featured on Channel 4’s Shipwrecked.
For sex trafficking and organized crime, police detained the Tate brothers. They would reportedly coerce women into producing pornographic content that would be sold online. Transcripts of text messages obtained by Romanian media show how the Tates reportedly threatened and controlled the women they were purportedly holding hostage. Texts from the prosecution claim that Andrew Tate forbade women from leaving his property unless they were escorted by a member of his staff.
