On Friday, popular band Swedish House Mafia canceled five more shows on its Paradise Again arena tour. Although no reason for the cancelation has been put forth, reports say that arena shows are experiencing slow sales of tickets. There has also been a saturation of shows. People are also spending less as the economic uncertainty is increasing. First timers are playing to half full houses and music festivals have also seen low turnouts. Although the Paradise Again first show is expected to begin within a week, fans are worried that more shows will be called off.
The newly canceled shows of the EDM supergroup are as follows:
July 31– Amway Center in Orlando
August 2 – Madison Square Garden in New York City
August 9 – TD Garden in Boston
August 11 – Verizon Arena in Washington D.C.
August 17 – Little Caesars Arena in Detroit.
Earlier, the following shows were canceled
August 3 – MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey
August 19 – Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul, Minnesota
August 30 – Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona.

Fans are worried as the number of canceled shows are increasing. Some shows such as the one in Denver have seen a price drop from $329 to $150. Yet, fans are wondering whether this show of Swedish House Mafia would also get canceled.
Although there are cancelations across the nation, fans of the band are waiting to see their favorite band perform together as their last tour called One Last Tour was almost a decade ago from 2012 to 2013, following which Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso disbanded.
The first arena show of Swedish House Mafia will start on July 29, 2022 in Miami, Florida. They will tour across the nation till September 17. They will perform in the U.K. From September 29 to October 8 and would then reach Europe where they will tour from October 10 to November 13, with their last show in Tampere, Finland.
April 2022 saw the debut of Swedish House Mafia’s newest No. 1 hit Paradise Again which reached the top spot on Billboard’s Top Dance/Electronic Album Chart. They performed with co-headliner The Weeknd at Coachella. The Swedes will also take up their first residency in the U.S. at XS Nightclub at the Wynn Hotel, which is a casion resort in Las Vegas.
