Today the medical examiner’s office said Crawford’s death was reported as suicide from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Two women told police that Crawford talked about being depressed before he shot himself, according to the Post-Dispatch, but his father told the paper he did not believe his son took his own life.
