San Antonio Spurs center Victor Wembanyama will not play in Sunday’s home game against the Sacramento Kings because of left calf tightness.

The star big man, who had been listed as questionable to play, averaged 26.2 points with 12.9 rebounds and 3.6 blocked shots over the Spurs’ first 12 games of the season.

San Antonio entered play Sunday with an 8-4 record following consecutive loses to the Golden State Warriors.

The 7-foot-4 Wembanyama was the No. 1 overall draft pick in 2023 out of France.

He was the Rookie of the Year in 2023-24 and has averaged 22.9 points with 11.0 rebounds and 3.7 blocks in 129 career games (all starts).
