Victor Wembanyama scored 18 points in just 22 minutes, Keldon Johnson came off the bench for an additional 18 and the San Antonio Spurs wasted no time distancing themselves from the host Sacramento Kings en route to a 132-104 romp Tuesday night.

Playing the second night of a back-to-back, the Spurs broke from a 4-4 tie with a nine-point flurry that created a lead they never relinquished. Stephon Castle, Harrison Barnes and Julian Champagnie buried 3-pointers to account for the scoring in the run.

The long-range successes were three of the Spurs’ 25 on a night when they shot 51.0% from deep. Champagnie went 5-for-7 from beyond the arc to account for all but two of his 17 points.

Johnson converted 8-of-12 field goal attempts, while Dylan Harper (15 points) knocked down 6 of 9.

Scoring 39 points in each of the first two quarters, San Antonio built a 78-47 lead by halftime and coasted home, with all 14 of their players in uniform contributing to the team’s 11th game with 132 or more points this season. The Spurs are 11-0 in those contests.

Castle finished with a game-high 12 assists and Luke Kornet a game-high 10 rebounds for the Spurs, who used a 19th win in their last 21 games to remain three games back of the Oklahoma City Thunder atop the Western Conference standings.

Former Kings Harrison Barnes (16) and De’Aaron Fox (15) combined for 31 points, while Lindy Waters III added 11 as San Antonio swept the three-game season series.

Maxime Raynaud exploded for a season-best 32 points to go with a team-high nine rebounds for the Kings, who had won four of their last five. The rookie made 13 of his 25 shots.

Russell Westbrook ran up a team-high 10 assists for Sacramento, while Nique Clifford had 15 points, Daeqwon Plowden 14, Doug McDermott 12 and Precious Achiuwa 10.

Coming off a 41-point performance Sunday against the Utah Jazz, DeMar DeRozan was held to two points on 1-for-4 shooting before calling it a night after just 17 minutes.
