South Korea Presidential Election 2017 – CWEB.com
CWEB predicts that candidate Moon Jae-in will be elected.
Tomorrow there will be presidential elections also in South Korea. And the Democratic Party – leader in the polls – wants to put an end to the policy of sanctions against North Korea.
The early poll was triggered by the ouster of former President Park Geun-hye, who was removed from office in March over a massive corruption and influence-peddling scandal involving her close friend, aides and business moguls, Yonhap News Agency reported. South Koreans go to the poll today ahead of scheduled date to elect a new President following the impeachment of Ms. Park on corruption charges. Ms. Park was elected in 2012 after she narrowly beat Mr. Moon and now remains the first South Korean leader to be impeached.
